Bo Ywe is a small island, an eastern satellite island of Pila Island. If we sail through the channel, two small beaches can be seen but not remarkably. But in front of these beaches is one of the best snorkeling spots in this cruise.

โบ-ยแว เป็นเกาะเล็กๆ เหมือนเกาะบริวารทางตะวันออกของเกาะพีลา ถ้าล่องเรือผ่านช่องแคบคั่นกลางนี้ไปเร็วๆ จะเห็นแค่หาดทรายขนาดเล็กสองหาด ไม่น่าสนใจเท่าไร แต่ตรงหน้าหาดทรายทั้งสองนี้เอง เป็นจุดดำน้ำตื้นที่ดีที่สุดจุดหนึ่งของการเดินทางครั้งนี้

Aw Sa Kar and Yan Naing Aung take us in a lifeboat to the opposite of south beach, the one with fishing boats in the picture above. We then enjoy snorkeling easily by the stream that flows up north. This dive site has many colorful fishes, sea anemones, giant clams and a variety of sea stars included crown-of-thorn and pin-cushion. The special guests are porcupine fishes and a Moray eel, the common sea urchins are everywhere.

After a full experience of the underwater beauty, we walk up the north beach to take a shower at the waterfalls, washing away our tiredness. Superb!

ออซะกากับยาง์นายง์ออง์ พาเรานั่งเรือเล็กไปปล่อยให้ลงตรงต้นน้ำทางใต้เกาะ ตรงข้ามหาดทรายด้านใต้ที่มีเรือประมงเล็กๆจอดอยู่ตามภาพด้านบน แล้วให้กระแสน้ำพัดเรากลับขึ้นเหนือ จุดดำน้ำที่นี้นอกจากฝูงปลาหลากสีจำนวนมากแล้ว ยังมีดอกไม้ทะเล หอยมือเสือขนาดใหญ่ ดาวทะเลหลากชนิด ทั้งดาวมงกุฎหนามและดาวหมอนปักหมุด ส่วนปลาที่เห็นเป็นพิเศษ คือ ปลาปักเป้า และปลาไหลมอเรย์ตัวเขื่อง ส่วนเม่นทะเลนั้นก็เต็มไปหมด

ชมความงามใต้น้ำจนอิ่มและเหนื่อยแล้ว ก็เดินขึ้นฝั่งไปอาบน้ำตกบนหาดทรายด้านเหนือพอดี อะไรจะลงตัวอย่างนี้

The next morning, I wake up watching the sunrise beyond this island. Both western beaches can be seen in the picture above, the large one on the left is the waterfall beach. 

Today encore, I swim back to the island for a morning shower again. 

เช้าวันรุ่งขึ้น ผมนั่งดูพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นจากหลังเกาะ ภาพข้างบนจะเห็นหาดทั้งสองที่อยู่ด้านตะวันตกของเกาะ หาดใหญ่กว่าทางซ้ายมือคือหาดที่มีน้ำตก 

วันนี้ผมยังติดใจ ขอลงน้ำ ว่ายขึ้นฝั่งไปอาบน้ำตกเล็กๆ นั้นอีกครั้ง

I take the picture above when our boat sails eastward around Bo Ywe island's southern tip. Pila Island is looked smaller on the far left. 

In this Mergui Archipelago cruise, which island would I most love to come back? 

My answer is here ...a small but special... Bo Ywe. 

ภาพข้างบน ผมถ่ายเกาะโบ-ยแวตอนเรือเราถอนสมอแล่นอ้อมใต้เกาะมาด้านตะวันออกแล้ว จะเห็นเกาะพีลาเล็กๆ อยู่ทางซ้ายมือ 

ถ้าถามว่า ในหมู่เกาะมะริดเที่ยวนี้ ผมอยากกลับมาเกาะไหนมากที่สุด คำตอบของผม คือ โบ-ยแว เกาะเล็กๆ ไม่เด่นแต่มีดีเกาะนี้ครับ
