လန်ပိကျွန်း (ကျွန်းတန်းရှည်) 

Kayak, the word comes from Arctic regions' indigenous people 'qajaq', it means man's or hunter's boat.

But we also have 2 ladies and do not come for hunting.

คายัค เป็นคำที่ยืมมาจากภาษาของชนพื้นเมืองแถบขั้วโลกเหนือ หมายถึง เรือของผู้ชายหรือนายพราน

แต่กลุ่มของเรามีผู้หญิงมาด้วยสองคน แล้วเราก็ไม่ได้มาล่า

We are ready in place holding a double-bladed paddle in both hands. And when the lifeboat's engine has been turned off ..no more loud noise, we gradually move forward along the river into a serenity of mangrove forest. 

Double paddlers, less effort, but has to be harmonious.
Single paddler, more effort, but freely agile.

ทุกคนนั่งประจำที่ สองมือกุมพายใบคู่พร้อม พอเรือชูชีพดับเครื่อง ..เสียงกระหึ่มเงียบลง ทุกคนก็ค่อยๆ เคลื่อนตัวตามลำน้ำสู่ป่าชายเลนอันเงียบสงบ

พายคู่ สบายแรง แต่ต้องสามัคคี
พายเดี่ยว เหนื่อยหน่อย แต่พริ้วไปอย่างอิสระ

I have the same feeling as freely cycling, slowly moving up to my limit, able to speed up or rest, looking around and approaching the point of interest closely.

ได้ความรู้สึกเดียวกับการปั่นจักรยานซอกแซกไปตามที่ต่างๆ ช้าๆ ตามกำลัง จะเร่ง จะแวะ จะพักเหนื่อย หยุดชมวิว เข้าถึงจุดสนใจได้อย่างใกล้ชิด

And most importantly, the surroundings are less disturbed ..even the shadow in the water.

และที่สำคัญ มันรบกวนทุกสิ่งรอบตัวน้อยมาก แม้แต่ ..เงาในน้ำ
